I'm trying to replace the burnt-out bulb in my bathroom light fixture, but I'm struggling to get the fixture off the ceiling. The fixture is held up by three little pegs, and I initially thought they just needed to be pulled or unscrewed, but no luck after hours of trying. A friend suggested using a wrench to pry it off, but I'm worried about damaging it. Does anyone have advice on how to properly detach it without breaking anything? I've attached a picture of the fixture for reference.

I’d suggest looking closely at the fixture. Sometimes, the glass itself turns to reveal the securing screws underneath. Those pegs might not be the actual attachment points—there's usually a small box behind the fixture that it connects to. So give it a spin and see if anything loosens up!
Sounds like the screws might be rusted from the bathroom humidity. Try using pliers to grip those pegs and turn them counter-clockwise. Just be cautious not to apply too much force or you might break something!
You should try turning those caps on the pegs counter-clockwise. They’re meant to slide off, and underneath, you'll likely uncover some threaded rods that will help you remove the fixture.
