I'm planning to transport ten 25-gallon green giant trees that are about 7 to 8 feet tall. I'm wondering if they'll be okay in the back of my pickup truck for a one-hour drive, or if I need to make different arrangements. Also, is it too heavy for two people to lift? As a bonus, what tools or machinery do I need to plant these trees? Can two people do it by hand, or should I consider equipment?

They should be fine in your truck, but I'm not sure if all ten will fit. Also, don't worry too much about weight—I managed to plant four trees on my own this spring with some help from my wife to move them into place! Just take your time with it.
I recommend asking the nursery to deliver them if that's an option. It'll save you the hassle of transporting them yourself, and they'll know how to handle them properly.
Definitely strap them down and cover them with a mesh tarp to prevent windburn. Before leaving the nursery, ask them to water the root balls as well. That should help keep the trees healthy during the drive!
Shovels will be all you need for planting, but if you can manage to stake them, that would be helpful too. Just be prepared that staking can be a bit tricky.
