How Can I Safely Vaporize Fuel with an Ultrasonic Mister Near My Intake?

I'm trying to create a system that uses an ultrasonic mister to vaporize fuel right at the intake to boost fuel efficiency. I know there was a system back in 1977 that achieved an impressive 100 MPG using heat and vacuum to vaporize fuel, and with today's tech advancements, I believe I could enhance that concept. My main concern now is finding out how to make this submerged vaporizer safe, especially given the volatility of fuel vapors. Any thoughts or tips would be appreciated!

Honestly, I wouldn't bother with this idea. The whole 100 MPG carburetor thing is largely considered a myth now. Even with all the advances in technology, professional tuners have struggled to replicate those results. It just seems more like conspiracy theory territory than a feasible project. Maybe consider focusing on more practical improvements instead.

There are definitely a lot of scams out there claiming to improve fuel efficiency, and while older carburetors could create a fine mist, modern fuel injection systems don’t really need that. They’re designed to squirt fuel very finely without extra mixing. So, think about whether this is really the direction you want to go in.

You might be right, but things were different before electronic fuel injection came along! There was a bit more flexibility with carbureters.
