You can definitely save those snapped stems! First, take a good look at them; if the cuts are clean, you can propagate them in water. Just place the stems in a jar with water, making sure the bottom nodes are submerged, and put them in a spot with indirect sunlight. Change the water every few days to keep it fresh.
