I just bought my first home, and I've noticed that one of the doors lacks any sealing at the bottom. The wood beneath the door is slanted, causing a noticeable gap. I'm wondering if it's possible to fix this gap without moving the door. Has anyone faced a similar issue, and do you have any tips on how to seal it effectively? Alternatively, should I consider changing the door's configuration entirely? I've added some pictures to clarify the situation.

It seems like the door was installed oddly, likely pushed forward in the jamb maybe for an out-swing configuration. You might be able to use a compressible weather strip for sealing. However, I’d need to see the closed door to give better advice.

Yeah, it’s definitely an out-swing and now it sits on the slanted part instead of the flat area. I have clearer photos in my edits if you want to take a look!
