I recently ordered top down bottom up cellular shades from blinds.com, but I messed up the measurements by a couple of inches. I'm wondering if there's a way to take apart these blinds, cut them down to size, and then put them back together? Has anyone done this before?

It’s pretty common for blinds to end up a bit longer than needed. The extra length actually helps create a better seal at the bottom and can look nice. If you’re willing to adjust them, it's doable, but it can get tricky with custom shades.
Hey, I get the frustration! You might need to do a bit of research first. There's a helpful video on YouTube that can show you how to take them apart, but honestly, cutting custom blinds can be more complex than standard ones. Just a heads up, messing with them might void any warranties you have!

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll check that video out but I’m a bit wary since they’re custom-made. Don’t want to mess them up for good.
