How Can I Stick a Baby Gate to Textured Walls Without Drilling?

I'm trying to install a baby gate on my textured outside walls without drilling because I'm a renter. I've already tried using T-Rex brand Black Extreme Hold Mounting Tape, but it didn't hold up. I'm looking for suggestions on other options that might work instead. Also, just to clarify, the gate is for cats, not children, and I currently have a retractable fabric gate that I'd like to set up without making any holes. Thanks!

Your best bet is to look into pressure-mounted baby gates. They don't require drilling and can be secured against textured walls. Just make sure they have a strong grip. If you find one that fits your needs, it should work just fine without any sticky solutions!

Yeah, pressure-mounted gates are great! I used them for my dog and they worked perfectly. Plus, they’re easy to remove when you no longer need them.
