I've been struggling with mold growing behind the caulk in my shower, and despite my efforts, I can't seem to eliminate it. I've tried re-caulking multiple times, hired a pro to do it, used anti-mold caulk, and cleaned with bleach, but nothing works! I also have a small child at home—should I be worried about the mold?

Definitely keep an eye on it, especially with a little one around! Mold can be harmful to kids. Besides fixing the source of the moisture, consider keeping the bathroom well-ventilated to help dry things out. A dehumidifier could also help if it’s a recurring issue!
It sounds like there might be a leak causing moisture to get trapped behind the caulk. You should investigate where the water is coming from—whether it's seeping through the walls or if the caulk wasn't applied correctly—so that you can tackle the root of the problem. Otherwise, the mold will just keep coming back!
