My cat has a habit of munching on my houseplants, and it's become a real issue. No matter how high I put them, he finds a way to get to them, and I've already lost a fig plant and some photo plants. Luckily, he hasn't eaten anything toxic, but I really want to protect my greenery. I've heard about using citrus sprays to deter him, but that didn't work. Does anyone have any better ideas to keep my plants safe?

Have you thought about growing cat grass? It’s just oats or barley, and it can help keep your kitty satisfied without munching on your actual plants. It might just take the edge off!
Just a heads up, citrus oils can be harmful to cats, so I’d be careful with those. Instead, consider using macrame hangers for your plants or just stick with pet-friendly options. There's a great list of safe plants that you can check out from the ASPCA, like spider plants or bamboo!
Thank you very much! I'll look into the pet-friendly plants list.
