How Can I Successfully Grow Mint for Homemade Tea?

Hi everyone! I'm new to gardening and looking to start with a mint or peppermint plant to brew my own mint tea. I'm located in Bengaluru, India, and I'm curious if there are specific types of mint plants I should consider and how to care for them. I've heard mint is pretty easy to grow, which is great since I'm a working professional. My mom had a thriving terrace garden years ago, and I'd love to recreate that someday. Any tips on where to buy the plant and how to take care of it would be awesome!

Absolutely, mint is super easy to grow! There are several types like orange mint, chocolate mint, and classic peppermint. We just keep ours outside on a table and they thrive. If you don’t have outdoor space, you can still grow them indoors by placing them near a window or using a grow light. All you need to do is water them occasionally and give them some fertilizer now and then. Good luck with your mint!
