I'm really struggling with propagating succulents! I've tried various methods, like taking leaves from a ghost succulent and hanging them by a thread near a window with low light, but it's just not working out. They seem to be rotting instead of sprouting. I want to add succulents to my collection, so I could really use some foolproof propagation tips. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hanging them up on a string is definitely an unusual method! For better results, I'd recommend placing the leaves directly on top of some soil in a sunny spot instead. You could also try filling a cup with water, covering it with plastic wrap, and poking holes for the leaves. Just make sure the leaves aren't touching the water, and the cut ends should face down toward the water—this way, they'll have the best chance to grow!
I think cutting the leaves can actually open them up to bacteria, which isn't great! Instead, just gently press them onto the surface of some potting soil and mist them lightly once a day. For larger pieces, you could suspend them above water using a small slit in plastic wrap, just be sure they're not actually touching the water. This could help avoid rot.
