I recently broke the bottom part of my ceiling fan's glass light cover, and now I can't figure out how to remove it. I've tried unscrewing it, pushing it up while turning, and even tapping on it, but nothing works. There are no visible screws or attachments keeping it in place, and it just won't budge. Any tips on how to get this thing off?

It sounds like it should come off with a quarter turn, but I can see how it's tough with the broken glass. Just make sure to be careful while handling it! Might take a bit of force, but gentle persistence usually helps.
