I'm worried my African Milk Tree might have some pests. Can anyone help me figure out what to look for and what I should do about it?

Yeah, it sounds like you might have spider mites. They're pretty small, but if you look closely, you might see webbing or tiny actual bugs. It's a good idea to give your plant a good wash to try and get rid of them. Just make sure the soil is dry enough before you do it, since you mentioned watering recently. You may want to use neem oil or some bug spray to handle the infestation too!

I had the same issue with my plants! Along with neem oil, you could just spray a diluted soap solution as a low-cost method to fight them without buying a lot of supplies.

Make sure to check for any white spots too; those could be signs of mealybugs. You can compare your plant to online images of common pests like aphids or thrips to see if anything matches. If you’re in doubt, snapping a pic and getting feedback from others can really help!

Thanks! I'll check some pest images and see if it looks like anything I have.
