How can I tell if my countertop is granite or quartz?

I'm trying to figure out if my countertop is made of granite or quartz before I buy a new cleaner for it. Currently, I'm just using an ammonia-free glass cleaner, but I want something more suitable. Here's a link to a photo of my countertop for reference: https://imgur.com/a/B8k0gCi. Thanks in advance for your help!

Honestly, it doesn’t matter too much in terms of cleaning products! Most recommendations say to stick with warm water, a little mild dish soap, and a microfiber cloth for both granite and quartz. That should keep it looking good!

True, but if you find out it's granite, you'll want to make sure it's sealed properly. Quartz doesn't need sealing!

It definitely looks more like granite to me. I've seen similar patterns before, and it resembles Baltic Brown granite specifically. If you're unsure, maybe compare it to other types in a showroom? That might help you confirm it.

Yeah, I've noticed that too! Granite tends to have that speckled look, while quartz usually has a more uniform appearance.
