I've got an electric receptacle with a broken test fault button, and now everything on that wall has lost power. I'm looking at a receptacle similar to this one: [link](https://www.homedepot.com/p/Leviton-20-Amp-Self-Test-SmartlockPro-Slim-Duplex-GFCI-Outlet-White-R12-GFNT2-0RW/205996739). How can I figure out if it's a 15 amp or 20 amp outlet?

I'm not an electrician, but I think you can usually tell a 20-amp receptacle by the extra horizontal slot on the face. If you see those cutouts, it’s likely a 20-amp. Otherwise, if it has just the standard vertical slots, it’s probably 15-amp. Hope that helps!
Definitely good to check! Those horizontal slots are a dead giveaway for 20 amps. But be careful while you’re replacing it!

Good eye! Thanks!
