How Can I Trigger Audio Files with a Thin Sensor?

Hey everyone! So, during a sleepless night filled with creative thoughts, I came up with this fun idea. I'm looking to create a project where I can trigger an audio file to play when a thin device (around 1-2mm thick) is placed over a receiver. I'm thinking of using Arduino for programming, but I could really use some insights on that since I'm new to it. Along with the audio playback, I want to add a skip button that will play a specific audio clip before advancing to the next file in a designated folder. Any advice or resources you could share would be awesome, thanks! ?

You might want to check out this video: [link](https://youtu.be/oy2NrHPC2PY?si=DcbUIK1xkHzh_nLe). It should give you some ideas for your project. Then, you'll just have to figure out the triggering mechanism to make it all work!
