Hi everyone! I'm looking for some creative solutions to modernize my old radio, a United Mic 9236 DAB+. I want to give it Bluetooth or aux capabilities without making too many modifications. Right now, it only has a DAB/FM tuner and a CD drive, with no aux port available. If anyone has any ideas on how I could achieve this, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

You might want to check out some videos from Mr. Carlson's lab on YouTube. He has a few that cover this topic and even discuss circuit boards that can help you out. It's pretty insightful!
Is this the one you mean? [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuQzyODMrO4](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuQzyODMrO4)
To upgrade your radio, look for the service manual and try to track down the circuit diagram. You might need to wire in a Bluetooth module, potentially replacing the CD section. That could be your best bet!
Thanks for the info, I thought about that. Sounds reasonable, but I'm not sure I'll find the circuit diagram since the original company went out of business. I'm trying to explore the Wayback Machine to find any info. Do I need any special boards in between?

Thanks a lot!!
