How Can I Water My Thujas While I’m Away for 10 Days?

I recently planted some tall thujas and I'm going to be out of town for 10 days. I need advice on affordable irrigation options since the gardener wants to charge me £60 a day. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

If you have access to an outdoor tap, consider getting a watering timer along with an irrigation kit from places like Screwfix. They have some solid options that will help automate the watering for your thujas.

I don’t have an outside tap, and I’ve tried a ton of adaptors on my indoor taps—they just don’t fit! It’s frustrating.

If you soak the roots well when you planted them and give them a good drink right before you leave, they should be fine for 10 days, especially since the weather isn't too hot right now. Plus, if it rains, you won’t have to worry at all!

Definitely check the forecast! If rain is on the way, you're golden.
