Every evening when I return home from work, I'm greeted by the sight of squirrels wreaking havoc in my garden. They dig up my containers, disturb my seedlings, and seem to just make a mess without even eating anything. I've tried everything from cayenne pepper and various sprays to more eccentric solutions like voodoo dolls and Gypsy curses, but each day I come home to more destruction. What can I do to stop this chaos?

I've been there! One thing that worked for me was using chicken wire or metal grates over my pots. It keeps them from digging, but it might not work for transplants since the plants need to grow through it. You could also try sticking the edges down with stakes to keep them secure. Hope this helps!
You might want to try marking your territory (seriously, human urine acts as a natural repellent!). Otherwise, a simple method I've used is just making a loud noise when they're around. They get startled easily!
