How do I effectively deal with weeds in my asphalt driveway?

I've got a mile-long driveway with tons of weeds sprouting through the cracks, and I'm looking for the best, most efficient way to handle them. I've tried using a weed eater followed by spraying them with weed killer, but it feels like it's taking forever. Is there a more effective method I could use?

Using a propane torch is another option! It effectively burns the weeds, but just be warned that they might sprout back quickly. Plus, if you're not careful, it can eat up a lot of propane. Just weigh the pros and cons before diving in!

One straightforward way to deal with those cracks is to fill them with asphalt filler and sealer. It can help prevent new weeds from popping up, plus it gives your driveway a better finish. Just make sure you have everything you need before starting, and it's totally a DIY project if you feel handy!

Try making a homemade weed killer by mixing four parts herbicidal strength vinegar with one part water and a few drops of dish soap. It's not the same as kitchen vinegar though, so grab some at a hardware store. This should eliminate your weeds without harming the asphalt, but don't forget to wear gloves and a mask while spraying!
