I'm having a bit of a dilemma with my dishwasher. The previous contractor tiled around the cabinets, creating a pit that's about 3/4 inch deep for the dishwasher. The old unit was short enough that I could simply adjust its legs and pull it out, but with the new Bosch model, I ran into trouble. While testing the fit for the water line clearance, I accidentally dropped the dishwasher into the pit and now I can't get it back out! I've adjusted the feet to various positions and can only pull it forward to the edge of the tiles, but any further is a no-go. I'm considering two options: removing the four tiles for access or perhaps beveling the tile edges with a multi-tool. But I'm worried there might be a better solution. Any advice?

Have you tried tilting the top of the dishwasher forward? Sometimes that lets the front edge clear the countertop, which might help. Another bolder option could be to cut off the front feet with an oscillating multi-tool, if you're okay with that. Just be careful!

I can't really tilt it forward much without clearing the countertop. I'm hesitant about chopping the feet off since it's new. It’s mostly the plastic parts at the back that are lower than the feet.
