Hey everyone! I'm pretty new here, and I really need some advice. I've got a council house, and my garden has been completely taken over by brambles. Is there any effective way to get rid of them? I would really appreciate any tips. Thanks in advance!

One cool suggestion I heard is to hire a guy with goats! They love to munch on brambles and can clear your garden in just a couple of days. After that, you can dig up any leftover roots. Super easy and eco-friendly!
You might want to try cutting the brambles down first and then digging out the roots. That's a classic method that a lot of people swear by! Just be ready to keep an eye on them, as they can come back.
Instead of going for a drastic measure right away, why not harvest the berries for the next couple of months? Once autumn rolls around, they die back, making them easier to manage. You could borrow or buy a bladed brush cutter to help clear them out. Just make sure you don’t use glyphosate if you care about your soil health!

Yeah, and don’t forget to rake out the runners afterward. A nice way to return the nutrients to the soil is to burn the brush in small piles as it dies down!
