I'm thinking about growing mint this year, but I've heard that it can be really invasive! What are the best ways to plant it, how far should I distance it from other plants, and do you have any tips to prevent it from overgrowing everything else?

Growing mint in a container is a solid idea! It keeps the roots confined and helps control its spread. Just make sure your container has good drainage. I’d recommend something that’s at least 12 inches wide to give it some space to grow without escaping.

Yeah, I've heard that even in containers, mint can still try to escape if the pot isn't big enough. I’d stick with a larger pot to be safe!
