How Do I Install a Frameless Window I Found in Storage?

Hey everyone, I recently came across a window that's been in my dad's storage for ages, and I think it could fit perfectly in my new house. The catch? It's just the glass with no frame at all. I'm honestly not sure if it's complete or what I need to do to attach it properly. Do I need to get a frame separately, or is there another way to mount it? Any advice would really help!

You might want to reconsider using that window, especially since it's a single pane. It could be a hassle to install, and honestly, you're better off picking up a brand new window and following standard installation methods. If you really want to go the DIY route, you could look for a used patio door as a base, strip off any vinyl, and build a frame around the glass. Just remember that any framing you do needs to be sealed and flashed properly to work.

Wait, are you sure it's just a single pane? I thought it was a double pane window with a rubber seal. What would be the usual use for a window like this? Is there any specific framing material that works best?
