I'm looking to put a wall-mounted mailbox on my house, which has vinyl siding. I've heard that screwing directly into the siding isn't a good idea. Does anyone have tips or suggestions for mounting a mailbox securely without damaging the siding?

Z3nMasT3r: Thanks for the tip! I checked out the S hooks, but they seem a bit flimsy for holding a mailbox. I found some mounting blocks for lights, but they don’t seem wide enough for most mailboxes. Any other ideas?
