Hey everyone! I've started receiving orders for my custom cutting boards and I'm trying to figure out the best way to price them. I want to make sure I cover my costs without overcharging customers. Any tips or formulas for pricing would be greatly appreciated!

A good rule of thumb is to calculate your materials cost plus the time spent making the boards, then add around 20% for consumables like blades and sandpaper. For example, if the materials cost you €100 and you spend 4 hours working at €40 per hour, you’d have a total of €320. For returning customers, you might want to round that down to €300 or even €320 sometimes.

That makes sense, but how do you factor in the actual amount of wood used? Like with a big maple board, I won’t use the whole thing.
