How do I remove a stuck drill chuck on my Milwaukee drill?

I'm having trouble with my Milwaukee model 2606-20 drill; the chuck is completely stuck and I can't get it to twist in any direction. I've attempted to remove the Phillips head retaining screw inside using a screwdriver and an impact driver, but that screw is stuck too and doesn't budge. What can I do to get this chuck off?

Have you tried using WD-40 or any other lubricant? Sometimes a bit of oil can work wonders in loosening stuck parts.

If your drill is still under warranty, I’d suggest getting in touch with customer service. They might be able to help you out or even replace it.

Just a heads up: the chuck screw is left-handed, so it might help to remember that when trying to twist it loose! But if it's not moving in either direction, then that could be a bigger issue.
