How Do I Remove My Old Kitchen Backsplash?

Asked By CraftyPineapple27 On

I'm struggling to remove this thick stone tile backsplash in my kitchen. I've tried a few tools, like a pry bar, hammer, and oscillating tool, but it hasn't been easy. What are some effective methods for getting these tiles off? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

You might want to start by cutting around the top and bottom of the tiles before ripping the drywall off. Honestly, you’re going to damage the drywall anyway, so why complicate things? Just make the process easier for yourself!

That's a good point! I'm new to this whole DIY thing. Is cutting the drywall possible with my oscillating tool, or will it mess up the framework behind it?
