How do I remove stubborn bolts from a brick wall?

I recently removed some mounts from my brick wall that were used for a roll-in/out canopy, but I'm left with bolts embedded in the wall. They look like carriage bolts but don't have tops, and while I can push them in, I can't get them out. It seems like they were designed to stay put, but I'm hoping someone might have tips on how to remove them without damaging the wall.

It sounds like those could be concrete anchors or toggle bolts. A good method is to cut them off using a grinder or a hacksaw. Just be careful not to damage the surrounding brick!
