I'm having a tough time getting the light dome off my ceiling fan to replace the bulb. Unlike other fixtures that have screws on the sides, this one only has screws on the top. I'm confused about whether I need to unscrew it or if the whole dome twists off. It does have a little bit of a twist, but not enough for me to feel confident about it. I really don't want to break it since it's in a rental property. The dome is either glass or ceramic with a metal cover that completely encloses it. Can anyone help me figure this out?

It sounds like it could be the twist-off type. Have you tried lifting it a bit while you twist? That usually works! If it feels stuck, don’t force it too much, though. It might just be a little tight.

I did give it a try, but it feels like there aren't any grooves to catch like standard bulbs do. Plus, there's barely any space to get a short screwdriver in there.
