How Do I Replace the Bottom Seal on My Garage Door Without Tracks?

Hey DIY enthusiasts! I'm trying to replace the bottom seal of my garage door. The challenge is that my door doesn't seem to have any tracks for inserting the seal; it looks like the old rubber was just nailed directly to the bottom of the door. Has anyone dealt with this before? I'd appreciate any tips or advice on how to tackle this project. Thanks a lot!

I had the same situation with my wooden garage door. What worked for me was buying a rubber strip that came in a 16-foot length, which included several shorter pieces of track. Just screw the track onto the bottom of your door (it helps to have something to keep it aligned), then you can slide the rubber strip in from the side. The track is aluminum, so if it’s too long, you can easily trim it down with a miter saw. Good luck!

Also, you might want to check this out! There's a product from Frost King that could work for you—here's the link: [Frost King Garage Door Seal](https://www.amazon.com/Frost-King-G16H-Rubber-16-Foot/dp/B000B4GU8Q). You might be able to nail it in place just like the old seal. I hope this helps!

Thank you! The nail-in option sounds like what I need. I must have been searching with the wrong terms!
