I've been looking into building a cattle panel trellis since they're pretty popular, but I'm stuck on how to transport the long panels from the store to my garden. The delivery fees are higher than the panels themselves, and I only have a Toyota Corolla. Do you have any tips or tricks for getting these panels home, or is there a better way to do this? I have some friends with trucks, but I'm unsure how we'd make it work with the size. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

I posted on local groups like Nextdoor and Facebook to find someone with a truck willing to help for about $25. It’s a low-cost option, and it saves you the hassle of figuring out how to fit them yourself!
You can actually bend the panels a bit! If you’re using hog panels, they can flex enough to fit in a pickup truck. Just make sure you strap them down well to prevent them from flying off. Back when I drove a Ford Escort, I managed to haul all kinds of things on top!
When I got my 16-foot panels, I just shaped them into a U formed in the back of my parents' trailer. Honestly, that’s one of the reasons I drive a pickup—garden chores are way easier!

That’s a smart idea! I’ve done that too before—sometimes you can find good deals, or even just a neighbor who’s happy to lend a hand!
