How Do I Warranty My DeWalt Batteries?

Asked By G4rN3tT3 On

I'm new to DeWalt and have already registered all my tools on the 'My Toolbox' website. But I'm a bit confused about how to warranty my batteries if they fail. I noticed they don't get registered. What proof do I need to provide? How is the warranty date determined? Thanks in advance for your help!

If you encounter issues with a battery, when you reach out to DeWalt, they'll ask for the purchase date and the date code on the battery. I recommend writing the month and year on the top of your batteries with a sharpie just to be safe, in case you misplace the receipt.

Thanks! Hypothetically, would they need to know which battery came with which tool?
