I live in Nebraska and my houseplants are really struggling with the winter conditions, especially due to the limited light. I have a large spider plant that usually thrives but has been suffering during these darker months. My cacti and succulents don't get any water in winter, which makes them look etiolated and sick, even though they bounce back after dormancy. I would love to know how others manage their plants in different climates since I see so many people sharing beautiful outdoor plants. I sometimes put my plants outside in the summer, but they often end up get scorched, and if they're in the shade, I have to water them twice a day. Bringing them back inside is also a hassle as they take a while to recover. I learned the hard way about my rubber tree plant's needs, thinking it was hardier than it is. Does anyone else have tips for handling weather changes with plants, and what regions offer the best conditions for indoor plants?

I live in Finland, so yeah, I definitely don’t put my plants outside! Even in summer, the nights can get too cold for most of my plants. I just keep them indoors and try to maximize their light exposure as much as I can!
