I'm curious about how homeowners who take care of their own yards manage lawn edging. Do you prefer using a string trimmer, an edger, or maybe something else altogether? Also, have you ever considered the idea of a small robot designed specifically for edging, one that could autonomously trim along the borders of your lawn? Just looking for some thoughts on whether that's something people would find helpful or if it's not really necessary.

I use a Ryobi edger, and it's fantastic! Really makes the job easier. If you stick to the plan and edge regularly, it does wonders for your yard!
I go back and forth between a string trimmer and a stick edger—depends on my mood. Sometimes I feel like using one over the other.
I usually edge with a string trimmer turned upside down. I just lean it against my shoulder and walk in the direction it spins. Works like a charm!
That’s a great tip! Thanks for sharing!
If you stay on top of it, a string trimmer is all you really need. I worked as a landscaper for five years and only used a dedicated edger when starting with a new property.
Totally agree! The Ryobi tool really helps keep everything looking sharp. Just remember to edge regularly to avoid dirt buildup!
