Hey everyone! Quick question for all the woodworkers out there: What do you do about your socks when you're working in the shop? I usually wear shorts, and it seems like every day my socks end up stuffed with sawdust and wood chips that just won't come out in the wash. Are there any special woodworking socks that can fend off all that mess, or is there a better solution?

Going barefoot is the way to go or at least swap to lightweight pants to dodge the sock issue! You get more airflow and keep your feet cooler too, especially in summer.
I stick to wearing boots and pants, which helps me manage the mess a lot better. I have a few different pairs for each season—keeps things comfy and practical!
Honestly, flip flops are the best for hot days! They keep your feet cool and save your shoes and socks from the sawdust ordeal. Just be careful if you're handling heavier pieces.
