I have a garden that's surrounded by trees and buildings, and in the winter, the sun is lower, which means some areas might not get any light. I'm curious, what methods do you use to remember which parts of your garden get sunlight and at what times?

I keep it simple by taking photos of my garden once a month at different times of the day. This helps me see which areas get sun and when, especially during the changing seasons. It's a great way to track it visually!
Knowing the cardinal directions really helps me. My house faces southwest, so I can easily figure out where the sun rises and sets. During midsummer, it rises in the northeast and sets in the northwest, but in winter, it’s southeast and southwest. It’s all about keeping an eye on those changes!

That sounds smart! Photos are way better than trying to remember everything in my head.
