I'm looking for advice on how to effectively track my woodworking projects while I'm out and about. I'm curious if anyone uses specific software or has found other practical methods to keep their tasks organized and prioritize projects without feeling overwhelmed.

I try to keep active projects right on my workbench or saw so I can easily jump back in after taking a break. For the bigger projects that I break into smaller parts, I usually write everything down on paper and store it in a clipboard in my shop. If I need to switch gears, I gather all the materials for that project into a bag or pile with any notes I have, so it’s easier to pick up where I left off later. It’s not a perfect system, but it’s way less hassle than using software for me!
It really depends on whether you're doing this as a hobby or running a business. Personally, I’m just a hobbyist and honestly, I’d rather spend my time woodworking than managing complicated setups. So for me, keeping it simple is key. I just jot things down in whatever note-taking app I’m using. I currently use Microsoft OneNote, but I’m considering switching to Notion for better organization.

That sounds like a good plan! I’ve heard Notion can be pretty flexible for tracking projects.
