I'm looking for some efficient ways to track tool deals, specifically waiting for a sale on a Dewalt tool set before I buy it. Currently, I find myself manually checking sites like Home Depot and Amazon for discounts, which feels really inefficient and time-consuming. What methods or tools do you all use to keep track of when certain items go on sale? I'd love to hear how you manage this more effectively! Thanks!

For the US, try Slickdeals; they have great alerts. Fasteners Inc has flash sales every Saturday ending at midnight PST. If you're in Canada, RedFlagDeals is worth checking out too. You can find good sales or price drops on Google, like the DCF510B for $229 CAD!
I usually check Reddit boards, plus I use Honey and Capital One Shopping to find discounts. They help a lot!
Living in Mexico makes it tough for me to snag those awesome deals! Just looking at these threads makes me super envious.
I've found that just hanging around forums like this one helps a lot! People usually post great deals once in a while. If you're well-stocked on tools like I am, you might not need to check as often. Just keep an eye out here!
I do the same! I have a bunch of stuff sitting in my cart, but it's nothing urgent. Maybe someday I'll actually buy something!
Right? Prices are just gonna keep rising if the trends continue.
I'd recommend checking out camelcamelcamel.com for price tracking alerts. It’s pretty handy! I also toss everything I want into my Amazon cart and check the prices almost daily. You'd be surprised how often they change by $10-$20! Signing up for email alerts from places like Lowes and Home Depot is also a smart move since they often have sales.
I'm curious, does camelcamelcamel offer SMS alerts for sales? That would be cool!
Keepa is another good option if you need an alternative!
I also keep track of deals via Slickdeals, especially using the Dewalt search option there. You can sort deals by their score and see the best new ones or the most recent posts. Here’s a link to my Dewalt searches if you're interested!
When one store has a sale, chances are the big box stores will follow suit, so I stay signed up for email alerts. I also check the Reddit Dewalt community regularly for good deals. Recently, we all scored a sweet deal on a battery pair for $55!
I find that adding items to my cart and just leaving them there works. Many sites notify you if there's any price change, which is pretty effective for keeping track!

I hit up a Fasteners Inc grand opening a few weeks ago and walked away with some awesome deals!
