How Effective is Dust Collection with a Track Saw?

I'm thinking about investing in a track saw and I want to know how effective the dust collection is when I connect it to a shop vacuum, cover the arbor hole, and cut on rigid foam board. Am I looking at a dust-free experience, or will there still be some dust?

When I use my Festool track saw with an extractor and cover the arbor (shoutout to Wittworks for that tip!), I still notice some dust—just a little, though. If I use the included dust bag, there's definitely more dust, but it's still an improvement over my other handheld tools. So while you won't be completely dust-free, you should be in pretty good shape with your setup!

Thanks! I’ve been using a circular saw with a shop vac and a DIY plywood track, and while it cuts okay, the dust is really annoying. I’m trying to decide if spending $500 is worth the reduction.
