How Long Should I Leave My Glue Panels Clamped?

I'm working on a project where I'm gluing panels together edge to edge, and I'm looking for advice on how long I should keep them clamped before I can safely unclamp them. Is there a realistic timeframe I should be aware of?

Typically, it's a good idea to leave your glued panels clamped for about 24 hours. That way, you're ensuring a strong bond before you take them apart. However, some glues like Titebond Fast and Thick can set pretty well in just 8 hours, so it varies depending on what you're using!

Totally agree with you on that! 24 hours feels right for most projects.

It really depends on the stress you expect on the joint after unclamping. For most scenarios, 24 hours is a solid baseline. If you're not going to put any stress on it for a few days, then maybe you can try shorter times, especially if you're working with multiple panels and want to speed things up.

I was thinking the same! I only have time to clamp three panels a day, so if I could unclamp them after a lighter timeframe, that would help a ton.
