How Long Until Terro Liquid Ant Bait Starts Working?

I've recently been dealing with some ants in my bedroom and decided to try Terro liquid ant bait after noticing scouts on my carpet. I set up three traps around 4:30 PM and, about six hours later, I can see a solid trail leading to the traps, but unfortunately, the scouts are moving further into my room, close to the door. I know it's early, but I'm wondering how long it usually takes for Terro to show results. How long before most people start seeing fewer ants? And generally, how long does it take to completely eliminate the problem? Also, I'm using Vaseline as a barrier to keep them contained while I figure this out, but any suggestions would be appreciated!

You'll need the ants to take the bait back to the nest, which can take about a week before you notice fewer ants. Be patient, they tend to get a bit worse before they get better as more ants are attracted to the bait. Hang in there!

In my experience, Terro has taken about 2-4 days to get rid of ant infestations, but I've had one stubborn case that took 10 days. If they’re venturing out more, consider putting out more bait in their path!

I've seen it take a few days with Terro. It works by the ants carrying the bait back to their nest, which helps eliminate the colony. Just be ready for a bit of a messy situation while they take the bait. It's gross, but eventually it works!

Yeah, the pheromone trails can get overwhelming, but it does help in the end. Don't worry too much about the initial increase!
