I'm considering renting a breaker tool from Home Depot to demo my old, cracked 4" concrete walkway, which is about 140 square feet, and there's no rebar involved. Can anyone share their experience or estimate how long and physically demanding this project might be for a DIYer like me? Thanks a lot!

I tackled about 48 sq ft of concrete in less than an hour using just a 12-pound sledge and a pinch point bar. You can really swing that bar under the slab and pop it up with a good swing. But a word of caution—removing and disposing of the debris can be a bigger pain than breaking it up!
From what I've experienced, if you have the right tools, it shouldn't take more than 2-3 hours. Just make sure you're comfortable with using them; if you're a total beginner, you might want to double that time. Just a heads up, you might struggle to return the tools afterward—those things can be pretty hefty!

Yeah, I'm doubtful about that. It sounds really hard to get that much done in an hour!
