How Many Hours of Light Do My Plants Need Each Day?

I have a couple of plants in my bedroom, specifically a snake plant and a scindapsus. My schedule has me starting my day at 11am, which is also when I open my curtains. My room gets plenty of light during the day, but I'm wondering if it's okay for my plants to only get light starting at that time. What do you think?

Your plants should be just fine! It really depends on whether they're getting direct or indirect light. If they get around 6 hours of bright indirect light, they'll do well. Just keep an eye on them to make sure they’re thriving!

Ah that's great to hear! The room gets really good light throughout the day, so that's reassuring. Thanks! ??

Most sources recommend 6 to 8 hours of bright indirect light for your plants, so you should be good. Just keep an eye on them for any signs of distress or changes!
