Hey everyone! I recently inherited a Laguna 1412 bandsaw and a Laguna Revo 18 36 2 HP lathe from my uncle, who primarily made wooden bowls with them. After his passing, I've been storing these tools while I sorted out his estate. Now, I'm ready to sell them, but I really have no clue what the second-hand market looks like for these types of tools. They're in good condition and were well cared for. I'm hoping to get some suggestions on what a fair starting price would be, as I don't want to hold out for a perfect price—just need a good idea of where to begin. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

A good way to approach pricing is to check retail prices and then cut that price in half. If you have any additional tools that go with the lathe, like chucks, faceplates, or turning tools, look up their list prices and add half of that value to your asking price. Selling them for half retail usually helps move tools quickly, while asking around two-thirds of the retail for machines is still reasonable these days. Sorry for your loss, by the way!
If you're near Washington DC, I'm actually interested in the lathe!
I am unfortunately about 16 hours from you, lol.

Hey, I appreciate the response, this is helpful!
