I'm curious about how much time everyone dedicates each week to plant care, such as watering, trimming, and dusting. How do you manage your indoor and outdoor plants?

On a typical week, I'm looking at about 30 minutes for watering my 30-35 plants, which vary from low to medium-high maintenance. When it’s time to repot, I like to knock out several plants in one go which takes an extra 45 minutes or so, but I try to get them all done together to save time.
Well, for my 29 indoor palms, I clock about 5 and a half hours weekly just watering them, plus an hour checking for pests! I use a turkey baster to clean out their trays, so it can be a bit of a chore! It's not too bad, and I’m always trying to find ways to speed things up.
I usually spend just a few minutes a week on my 10-15 indoor plants mostly for watering. I tend to ignore the outdoor plants unless there's a heatwave. I've managed to keep all but one alive over the past few years - that was my fault for putting it outside too early before a frost. Lesson learned!

Wow, that sounds intense! Have you thought about self-watering pots?
