How Often Should I Fertilize My Vegetable Garden?

Hey everyone! I hope your gardens are doing well like mine! My seedlings are happily settled outside in their garden beds, and I'm ready to start fertilizing. I've got a small garden, about 10 ft x 10 ft, with tomatoes, bell peppers, jalapeños, summer squash, and some herbs planted together. I'm planning to use liquid fish fertilizer (5-1-1) but I'm not sure how frequently I should be applying it. Are there any other fertilizers you would recommend? Thanks, and happy gardening!

Fish emulsion works wonders, but keep in mind it shouldn’t be your sole fertilizer. You’ll want to mix it with something higher in phosphorus and potassium for better fruiting. My go-to is using fish emulsion alongside a half-strength regular fertilizer.

Do you alternate between the fish emulsion and the half-strength fertilizer, or do you mix them together when you feed?
