How Often Should You Use Organic Fertilizers During the Growing Season?

I'm curious about how frequently others apply organic fertilizers while their plants are growing. How often do you feed your plants, and what types of fertilizers do you use?

It varies by crop for sure! For instance, indeterminate tomatoes or zucchini like a feeding every other week. But a head of romaine lettuce just needs a bit after planting, and onions need different nutrients at different growth stages. Just my two cents after some research—I'm no expert though!

I usually use Tomatotone every two weeks for my plants. It's worked well for me for tomatoes and other veggies!

Tomatotone? What's in that? Is it good for all types of plants?

It really depends on how your plants are doing. I typically fertilize every one to two weeks based on their growth stages. Some plants need more or less food to thrive!

Yeah, it also depends on the type of plant you're growing. They all have different needs!

What specific fertilizers do you use for different plants?

Absolutely, it depends on what you're growing. Check out this resource for specifics: [Fertilizing Guidelines](https://cmg.extension.colostate.edu/Gardennotes/719.pdf)
