How Reliable Are Forge 6.0 Batteries After Some Use?

Hey everyone! I'm curious about the reliability of the Forge 6.0 batteries. I've read mixed reviews, especially since pouch cell technology is relatively new for tool batteries. A friend mentioned some issues with the DeWalt PowerStacks, which also use pouch cells. For those who've been using the Forge 6.0 for a few months or longer, have you experienced any problems?

I’ve been using the Forge 6.0 since December 2023 with no complaints. I use it on tools like the mid-torque impact, a 7-1/4 saw, and even a Sawzall. It handles everything well, and even comes in handy for quick cuts with the multi-tool.

I got my Forge 6.0 last summer, and it's been working like a champ. The best part is using it with the Supercharger—it gets to 80% in just 15 minutes! That’s a game changer for me.

I've been using my Forge 6.0 for about eight months now, and it’s been great! No issues at all. I really like how lightweight it is for my angle grinder and 1/2" impact gun. I also got an 8.0 battery recently; again, no problems, but I haven't used it extensively yet. I just picked up a 12.0 Forge for my cordless handheld threader—I hope it performs well too. My old 12.0 batteries lasted about four years, but they started having charging issues. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the Forge so far!

The framers on my job site have had their Forge 6.0 batteries for over a year now and they haven’t had any problems. They really put them to the test, cycling them twice a day with tools like a 7-1/4 saw and a high torque impact. Definitely solid performance! All in all, they've been reliable.
