I'm setting up my first solar power system on my apartment balcony, and I could really use some help with the connections. Here's what I have gathered so far:
- 2 cables (25mm, 75cm)
- 3 cables (35mm, 1.5 meters)
- 2 Bulk 55amp batteries
- 1 Acdelco 72amp battery
- 1 Jinko 415-watt second-hand panel
- 1 PSTAR 60a PWM regulator (handles 12/24/36/48V)
- 1 Changi 3000w inverter (12V)
Could someone guide me on the correct order to connect these components? Also, is there anything else I might need? Thanks for your help!

Two important things to keep in mind: First, check if your batteries have the same chemistry—are they all lead-acid? Second, clarify your goal. Are you planning to run appliances solely on the inverter, or do you want to feed energy back into the grid? If it’s the latter, you’ll need a specific grid-tie inverter.
To connect your system, start with the batteries: connect them to the PWM regulator first. After that, link the solar panel to the PWM. Finally, attach the inverter to the batteries. Regarding your three batteries, it's a bit unusual for a setup like this unless you intend to use them in parallel. Make sure they're fully charged and have matching voltages if you want to use all three together!
I picked up the extra batteries because I found a deal for the Bulk brand and got the Acdelco as a gift. Just wanted to mention them in case they were useful!

I'm not sure about the chemistry, but the labels mention 'lead acid,' and I just want to store energy for my appliances.
